I was always a conscious type person! My mom calls me the "Why" child.  I simply just had this knowing that there was a meaning to life and that we weren't just supposed to be wondering around down here aimlessly waking up and doing the same thing every single day!

I asked a lot of questions, not just of my parents, but of myself, of God, my teachers, and anyone to whom I thought could provide an answer.  The more questions I asked, the deeper my curiosity for MORE became!

I'd find myself sitting and thinking A LOT! Dreams and ideas would come to me so often that I became confused as to how these things were going to happen.  For YEARS, I sat on my dreams, waiting for them to happen and nothing happened.  Year in and year out, nothing changed but my age!  

I tried really hard, asking questions of a lot of people and praying for answers day and night and day and night.  Until... I thought that there was something wrong with me.  Unfulfilled dreams can lead to severe heartache and heart-break.  There's a scripture that says, "hope deferred makes the heart sick!"

My heart became sick!  I got tired of hoping and praying and wishing for a brighter day.  You see, , I don't despise all of the days that I prayed, waited, and expected...  Because it was those days that I was growing and being strengthened mentally enough to REALIZE that what I was praying for I ALREADY WAS and that I WAS MY OWN RESCUE!

With all of my prayers, hopes, questions, wishes, and dreams, nothing was changing on the outside because IT WAS CHANGING ON THE INSIDE!"
