Your Attractive Thinker Homework:
Take out your Attractive Thinker notebook and answer this question...
What one decision can I make in this very moment to bring about a change for the better in my life?
Now, allow me to
shine the light on this experience. Think about how you felt when you received the first home assignment. When you saw the subject line, "Your Homework"...
- Did you open it?
- Did you set aside time to complete the home assignment?
- How did you feel when you saw the word "change"?
- What did you envision that change would be?
- How did you feel considering the change that you desired?
- Now that time has passed, has that
change begun to manifest in your life?
- Have you thought about that change anymore?
- When you think about it, what feelings come up with those thoughts?
- Did you revisit the home assignment again?
- Did you believe that this change could take place?
- What time have you set aside to envision this change and to take the action steps towards this change?
All of your responses to these questions
matter, and it's vital that you write down your responses in your Attractive Thinker notebook. Gem: These responses don't just affect the goal of change, they show up in various forms in every other area of our lives.
As I said earlier, 2 weeks have gone by which has shown how fast time flies whether we reach our goals or not! Now that we know that time will continue, answer this question below...
Would you rather have time pass without your goals being accomplished or time passes with you simultaneously reaching and enjoying the accomplishment of your goals?
Your Attractive Thinker Homework Part 2:
Once you decide what you'd like to change, make a list of what will change as a result of that one thing changing. A lot of times, people fear change because of what has to change as a result of it. When you make a list of what has to change in order for you to bring about your desired change in your life, you get to "see" what you're thinking instead of just thinking about what you're thinking. In sitting with it, you come to grips with it, it's not as scary as it seems, and you develop the
courage to take the leap because your fears are no longer bigger than your desires!
