Have you ever wondered how if you already have everything, then
why don't you have some of the things that you desire? I used to wonder about this same question.
But, when that thought came to me, my mind took me back to an experience that I recently had. Over the past few weeks, I've been gardening, upgrading my backyard, and putting up a new fence. I thought back on how I had an idea, a "specific" vision for a new fence. The vision was clear and I could feel how exciting and relaxing it would be to have a new fence in the backyard and replacing the old fence that I'd had for the past 20 years.
When I went to the Home Depot to gather materials to rebuild the fence, I realized that the Home Depot is a wealthy place. It's full of the desires of everyone's heart. As I recall viewing the tall shelves of lumber, pickets for the fence, brackets, and row after row of screws and nails, I also
saw million dollar homes, luxurious decks, patios, driveways, and unlimited backyard accessories!
But...
They were not in the
form of completed desires, they were in "material" form!
In order to replace and rebuild a new fence, I had to gather the materials and put these materials together in such a way that they'd take on the "form" of the thing that I desired!
, what am I saying here?!
The
thing that you desire is already here AND you have the materials necessary to bring it to life!
So many times I missed having what I truly desired because I was waiting & looking for
it to come in the completed "form" of what I desired. I didn't understand that I had the materials and the "creativity" to take what I do have and make and shape it into what I wanted it to be!
My desires were huge but I was viewing what I'd already been given as very small because I didn't know how to take what I already had and shape it
into what I wanted it to be.
, you already have creativity, determination, courage, vision, passion, drive, etc. These are powers that you have been given to help you create the kind of life that you desire to live!
